The front lower control arm used on the Viper, is an aluminum casting with a bolted on bracket for mounting the shock absorber to the control arm. The lower control arm is attached to the lower frame rail using cammed thru-bolts in rubber isolator bushings, which are pressed into the lower control arms. The cam bolts are used to make the camber and caster adjustments on the front suspension of the vehicle.
