Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair

NOTE: The EVAP purge canister mounts to the radiator support behind the front fascia.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front fascia.
2. Disconnect vacuum harness and electrical connector.

EVAP And LDP Mounting Bolts:

3. From inside of the left front wheel well, remove EVAP purge canister and LDP Pump bracket mounting bolts.
4. Remove hoses from the top of EVAP canister.

EVAP Canister Mounting Nuts:

5. Remove 3 nuts from EVAP canister and bracket.

EVAP Canister And Bracket:

6. Remove canister.

LDP Mounting Screws:

7. Remove 3 screws from LDP and bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install LDP to bracket and install 3 mounting screws.
2. Install EVAP canister to bracket and tighten nuts.
3. Install hoses to the top of the EVAP Canister.
4. Install Assembly to the Radiator closure and tighten bolts to 11.9 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
5. Connect electrical connector and vacuum harness.
6. Install front fascia.
