INSTALL
1. Install rotor on hub/bearing assembly.
2. Install the disc brake caliper on the steering knuckle.
3. Install the brake caliper attaching bolts and tighten to a torque of 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.).
4. Align the brake hose bracket with the hole in steering knuckle. Install the hub and bearing assembly attaching bolt. Tighten the hub and bearing assembly attaching bolt to a torque of 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Tighten the wheel mounting stud nuts in proper sequence until all nuts are torqued to half specification. Then repeat the tightening sequence to the full specified torque of 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle. Before moving vehicle, pump the brake pedal several times to ensure the vehicle has a firm brake pedal to adequately stop vehicle.
7. Road test the vehicle making several stops to wear off any foreign material on the brakes and to seat the brake shoes. See Brake Burnishing Procedure for the correct procedure if NEW brake shoe assemblies were installed.
