Alarm Horn: Description and Operation

SYSTEM OPERATION
Triggering The Alarm
When the system is armed, opening a door, hood, or the liftglass will trigger the system. Turning the ignition key to the RUN position will also trigger the alarm. Upon trigger, the alarm will sound for approximately 2.5 minutes. The park lamps, tail lamps, and instrument panel warning lamp will flash for approximately 18 minutes. The engine control module will not allow the engine to start.
