Ignition Switch: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
When the ignition switch is in the START/RUN position, it connects circuit A1, from fuse 17 (40 amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC), to circuit A21 through the ignition switch. Circuit A21 connects from the ignition switch to fuse 10, a 10 amp, in the fuse block. At the fuse, circuit F12 supplies power to a splice that powers the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), coil side of the Automatic Shut Down (ASD) relay, and coil side of the fuel pump relay.
