Backup Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove trunk lining as necessary to gain access to the trunk pan behind the turn and back-up lamp.
2. Remove plugs covering the access holes in the trunk pan for the turn and back-up lamp.

Turn Signal And Back Up Lamp:




3. Remove plastic seal nuts holding the turn and back-up lamp to the tail lamp closure panel through the access holes.

CAUTION: Do not drop the plastic seal nuts between the tail lamp closure panel and the trunk pan or the tail lamp closure panel will need to be removed.

4. Separate the turn and back-up lamp from the tail lamp closure panel.
5. Remove lamp sockets from the lamp housing.
6. Separate the turn and back-up lamp from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Position lamp to vehicle.
2. Install the lamp sockets in the lamp housing.
3. Position turn signal and back-up lamp in the tail lamp closure panel.
4. Install plastic seal nuts to hold turn signal and back-up lamp to tail lamp closure panel.
5. Install plugs to cover the access holes in the trunk pan for the turn and back-up lamp.
6. Install the trunk lining.
