Front Door Latch: Description and Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATIONDoor Latch Switches
The door latch switches provide an input to the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. Circuit G16 provides an input from the left door switch, and circuit G74 provides the input from the right door.
Door Latch/Unlatch Motors
The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module controls the operation of the latch/unlatch motors based on various inputs it receives.
Circuit P127 is the unlatch signal from the RKE module to the left door motor. Circuit P129 is the return from the motor to the RKE module.
For the right door motor circuit P126 is the unlatch signal from the RKE module, and circuit P128 is the return from the motor to the module.
