Cargo Lamp: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
Power for the cargo lamp is supplied on circuit M1. This is the Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) circuit and is protected by a 10 amp fuse located in cavity 18 of the fuse block. The lamp is wired in series with the lift- glass ajar switch.

When the operator OPENS the liftglass a ground path is completed on circuit M4 from the lamp, through the liftglass switch to circuit Z1.
