Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove manifold heat shield from exhaust manifolds.
2. Raise vehicle and disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.





3. Disconnect Heated Oxygen Sensor lead wire.
4. Remove bolts attaching manifold to cylinder head and remove manifold.

INSTALLATION
1. Install new gasket and install exhaust manifold. Tighten attaching fasteners to 23 Nm (200 inch lbs.) torque.





2. Attach exhaust pipe to manifold and tighten bolts to 28 Nm (250 inch lbs.) torque and connect heated oxygen sensor lead.
3. Install heat shields and tighten attaching fasteners to 6 Nm (50 inch lbs.).
