Oil Pan Seepage

MODELS:

NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO OCTOBER 1, 1997 (MDH 10-01-XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Oil seepage in the rear area of the oil pan near the supporting ribs due to a hairline crack.

DIAGNOSIS:

Inspect the oil pan for signs of cracks or oil seepage. If found, perform the Repair Procedure. If no cracks or seepage are found, no further action is required.

1 04763737 Gasket, Oil Pan

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves the replacement of the oil pan and gasket.

1. Remove and replace the oil pan following the procedure in the 1997 Viper Service Manual (Publication No. 81-270-7150), page 9-30.

POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
