SUBJECT:
Lifter Type Noise After Flywheel Removal And Installation

MODELS:

A sound that may be mistaken for lifter noise can develop after any repairs involving flywheel removal/installation. The noise is due to stretched flywheel mounting bolts. The flywheel mounting bolts (P/N 06035811) should be replaced during each flywheel removal/installation. The flywheel mounting bolts should be installed with Mopar Lock and Seal (P/N 04318031) or equivalent and torqued to 50 ft.lbs. (68 N.m).
