Horn Relay: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
When the alarm has been activated the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) module supplies a ground path for circuit X3. This circuit connects to the coil side of the horn relay, located in the relay bank.

When the ground path is complete, contacts in the relay close connecting circuits X2 and F31. Circuit F31 is the fused feed for the coil and contact sides of the relay, and circuit X2 connects from the relay to the horns.
