Circuit Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATIONCircuit A14 is used to provide a constant battery feed to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This circuit connects from the PCM to a fusible link located near the auxiliary jumper post on the left toe box.
Circuit A14 is spliced on the engine side of the bulkhead connector and supplies battery voltage to the contact side of the Automatic Shut Down (ASD) relay.
This is an input to the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) module only. Battery voltage is supplied to the module on circuit A14. This circuit is protected by a fusible link located near the auxiliary jumper post on the left toe box.
An additional battery feed to the VTSS module is circuit F33. This circuit is protected by a 20 Amp fuse located in cavity 14 of the fuse block. Power for the fuse is supplied on circuit A6. This circuit is HOT at all times and protected by a fusible link located near the auxiliary jumper post on the left toe box.
