Fused Ignition Feed

CIRCUIT OPERATION
This is an input to the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) module and to the Remote Keyless Entry module. Voltage to the module is supplied on circuit G5. The G5 circuit is protected by a 5 Amp fuse located in cavity 8 of the fuse block.

Power for the fuse is supplied from the ignition switch on circuit A21. This circuit is HOT when the ignition switch is in the START or RUN position only.

Power for the A1 circuit is supplied by circuit A1. This circuit is HOT at all times and protected by a fusible link located near the auxiliary jumper post on the left toe box.
