Oil Pressure Gauge: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
Power for the engine oil pressure gauge is supplied on circuit G5. This circuit is spliced and supplies power to all the gauges. Ground for the engine oil pressure gauge is provided on circuit Z1. This circuit is spliced and supplies ground for the speedometer, tachometer, engine coolant temperature gauge, and the voltmeter.

The engine oil pressure gauge changes the oil pressure reading based on the resistance to ground through the engine oil pressure sending unit on circuit G60.
