Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect closed ventilation system and evaporation control system from cylinder head covers
2. Disconnect spark plug wires from engine valve covers. Remove ignition cable separators and water tubes from valve covers.





3. Remove fasteners from engine valve covers and remove from the engine.

CAUTION: Remove all gasket material from cylinder head and cover using a plastic gasket scraper and Mopar Gasket Remover this will prevent damage to either the head or the cover.





INSTALLATION
1. Place valve cover gasket onto the cylinder head. Install engine valve cover onto the cylinder head and torque fasteners to 11 Nm (95 inch lbs.) in sequence shown in the illustration.
2. Install closed ventilation system and evaporation control system to cylinder head cover.
3) . Install spark plug wires onto their correct position.
