Security Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
This lamp is used to indicate to the operator when the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) is arming. Power for the lamp is supplied on circuit M1. This circuit is HOT at all times and protected by a 20 Amp fuse in cavity 15 of the fuse block.

Power for the fuse is supplied on circuit A6. This circuit is protected by a fusible link located near the auxiliary jumper post on the left toe box.

Ground for the lamp is controlled by the VTA module on circuit G69.
