WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON and the DRB in airbag diagnostic mode.

SET CONDITIONS
During diagnosis of the airbag system the DRB requests information from the ACM. When ACM sends information over the CCD bus the COD chip echoes the information back to the microprocessor. A code is set if the ACM cannot communicate ON the CCD bus (bus failure) or the microprocessor fails to see the echoed message.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Any CCD bus intermittent failure (may be viewed in stored codes once bus is repaired)
- Faulty airbag module
