NOTE
This code becomes active as soon as the malfunction is detected and stored after 1 minute of occurrence, or key-OFF, whichever is first.

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With ignition ON, the driver airbag line 1 or line 2 circuit voltage is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Driver airbag line 1 short to voltage
- Driver airbag line 2 short to voltage
- Faulty clock spring
- Passenger airbag line 1 short to voltage
- Passenger airbag line 2 short to voltage
- Faulty passenger airbag ON/OFF switch (if equipped)
- Faulty airbag control module
