Actuator Inspection

1. Disconnect the variable induction control servo connectors.

VIC Servo Connector:





2. Check servos coil for continuity between terminals # 1 and # 2.

Standard Value: 5 - 35 ohms at 20°C (68°F)

Servo Test Connections:





3. Using a 6 volt DC battery, check to see that the induction servo shaft turns smoothly when voltage is applied to the servo terminals.

CAUTION: DO NOT apply a voltage greater than 6 volts to the servo, as this will result in damage to the servo.

Servo Shaft Rotation:





4. Reverse the battery connection to the servos terminals. The induction servo shaft should turn smoothly in the opposite direction.
