Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

Fuel Pump Access Cover:

1. Remove the fuel pump access cover.

Fuel Pump Harness Connector Location:

2. Disconnect the fuel pump harness connector.
3. Start and run the engine until it stalls, then turn the ignition switch to "OFF".
4. Connect the fuel pump harness connector.
5. Apply sealant (3M part No. 8509 or equivalent) to the rear floor pan and install the fuel gauge cover.
