Speed Sensor Continuity

LF Wheel Speed Sensor Continuity
RF Wheel Speed Sensor Continuity
LF Wheel Speed Sensor Continuity
RR Wheel Speed Sensor Continuity

WHEN MONITORED:
Anytime after start-up cycle when the vehicle is not in motion or when at least two of the four sensors have not detected a transition for 0.5 seconds.

SET CONDITION:
These trouble codes are set when the Controller, Anti-lock Brake (CAB) detects an open or short to ground in any wheel speed sensor circuit. The test is performed by applying a small current through the sensor.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- Wheel speed sensor damaged
- Wheel speed sensor connector disconnected
- WSS (+) wire open
- WSS (+) wire shorted to B(+)
- WSS (+) wire shorted to ground
- WSS (-) wire open
- WSS (-) wire shorted to B(+)
- WSS (-) wire shorted to ground
- Failed CAB
