ABS Warning Lamp Diode Circuit

WHEN MONITORED:
The test is conducted at power-up.
SET CONDITION:
The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) warning lamp diode allows the warning lamp bulb to be grounded by the system relay while the relay is turned off. The trouble code is stored if the warning lamp driver circuit does not respond properly when the system relay is turned off and on at power up.
NOTE: JA body vehicles will illuminate the red BRAKE warning lamp if this code is detected.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- ABS warning lamp driver circuit open between the Controller, Anti-lock Brake (CAB) and relay box
- Failed diode (part of relay box)
