28 Fan Motor Relay System

Diagnostic Chart:

Symptom: Fan motor relay system (Radiator fan, A/C condenser fan)
- The fan motor relay is controlled by the power transistor inside the PCM turning ON and OFF.

Probable Cause
- Malfunction of fan motor relay
- Malfunction of fan motor
- Improper connector contact, open circuit or short-circuited harness wire
- Malfunction of the PCM
