OIL PAN SERVICE

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable, remove engine oil dipstick tube mounting screw from water tube and remove oil filter.
2. Raise vehicle. Drain engine oil.
3. Remove oil pan screws and remove oil pan.



INSTALLATION

1. Install a new 0-ring on the oil pick-up tube and install into Chain Case Cover tighten screw to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.).
2. Attach the oil pick-up to main cap tighten to 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.).







3. Use a new pan gasket, if necessary.
4. Install pan and tighten screws to 11 Nm (95 in lb.).
5. Lower vehicle and install oil filter install the dipstick and attach to water tube.
6. Connect negative battery cable.
7. Fill crankcase with oil to proper level.
