Steering Column: Testing and Inspection

Column Switch Inspection:

1. Remove the knee protector and the column cover. (Refer to Instrument Panel.)

2. Disconnect the column switch left connector (16 terminals) and check the continuity between the terminals for each switch.

Lighting Switch Continuity Table:

LIGHTING SWITCH
Operate the switch and check the continuity between the terminals.

Turn Signal Switch Continuity Table:

TURN SIGNAL SWITCH
Operate the switch and check the continuity between the terminals.

Dimmer/Passing Switch Continuity Table:

DIMMER/PASSING SWITCH
Operate the switch and check the continuity, between the terminals.
