Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

The fuel tank is of conventional style steel construction, bolted directly to the vehicle chassis. It has provisions for fuel expansion and is fitted with inlets and an outlet for, fuel supply, vapor recovery and fuel return. It houses the fuel gauge sending unit and a high pressure electric fuel pump.
