Throttle Full Close Switch: Description and Operation

Idle Position Switch Circuit:

DESCRIPTION
The Idle Position Switch is a contact type switch, which senses accelerator operation.

LOCATION
It is located in the Throttle Position Sensor, at the throttle plate.

OPERATION
When the throttle valve is in the idle position, the throttle plate shaft closes the switch.
