DISCUSSION:

The following service manual pages have been revised due to changes in the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).

The 1992 Stealth - Volume 1 Service Manual, Publication Number 81-270-2115 states that a waiting period of at least 30 seconds after disconnecting the battery is required prior to performing SRS service. This has been revised. THE BATTERY MUST BE DISCONNECTED FOR AT LEAST 60 SECONDS PRIOR TO WORKING ON THE SRS. This change must be written in the caution statements at the top of page 23B-33, at the bottom of page 23B-34, and following step 1 on pages, 23B-21, 23B-24, and 23B-27.

In addition to marking up the above pages, please insert the attached pages into the appropriate service manuals. The revised area of each page is highlighted with "asterisks" and printed in red.
