DISCUSSION:

The 3.0L DOHC (non-turbo) exhaust manifold nuts and washers have been revised. Engines with a build code of NQ3158 or higher are equipped with the new revised exhaust nuts and washers. These exhaust manifold nuts are now a self-locking type (these are the same lock nuts used on turbo engines). The new nuts should be used as replacements for early style nuts and washers.
