Lowering the Vehicle

When weight is removed from the rear suspension raising the height sensor, this action will activate the internal time delay circuit. After a time delay of 12--18 seconds, the Control Module (CM) activates the ground circuit to the exhaust valve solenoid. Air is exhausted from the shock absorbers through the air dryer and exhaust solenoid into the atmosphere.
As the shock absorbers deflate, the body moves downward to its original position. When the body reaches the original height, the CM opens the exhaust solenoid valve circuit.
