EGR Backpressure Transducer: Description and Operation

The EET combines a backpressure transducer and an electric vacuum solenoid. Using signals from the SBEC the vacuum solenoid regulates vacuum to the transducer of the EET. The transducer uses backpressure to provide correct amounts of exhaust gas recirculation under all conditions.
