NS-7B Primary Control Volt Supply to Ignition Coil (-)

Complete No Start Test 7, Step A before proceeding.

1. With the ignition switch in the Off position, disconnect the 14-way connector from the SMEC.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between the negative terminal of ignition coil and terminal No. 12 of the 14-way connector.
3. If ohmmeter shows continuity, check the terminal in terminal No. 12 of the 14-way connector to make sure it is not damaged causing a poor connection. If connector is good, replace the SMEC.
4. If ohmmeter shows no continuity, repair the black/yellow wire of terminal No. 12 for an open circuit.
