NS-6 Checking Ignition Control System For Fault Codes

Complete No Start Test 1, Step C before proceeding.

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to the engine test connector, and erase fault codes.
2. Put the system in the Diagnostic Mode and record all codes.
3. If code sequence is 88-12-55, no faults are present. Proceed to Test 7.
4. If code sequence is 88-12-43-55, spark control circuit fault is present. Proceed to Test 8.
