NS-5A Checking Fuel Pump

Complete No Start Test 2, Step A before proceeding.

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Place system in Diagnostic Test Mode, then depress ATM button.
3. If fuel pump is running, check the following:
a. All fuel lines for kinks, restrictions or leaks.
b. A plugged fuel filter.
c. Contaminated fuel.
4. If fuel pump does not run, proceed to Step B.
