NS-1B Checking Spark at Ignition Coil Wire

Complete No Start Test 1, Step A before proceeding.

1. Disconnect ignition coil wire from distributor cap and hold wire end 1/4 inch from good engine ground.
2. Crank engine and check for spark.
3. If good spark is present, repair secondary ignition system (distributor cap and/or rotor).
4. If very little or no spark is present, test ignition coil wire, if OK proceed to Step C.
