NS-15A Fault Code 42 Auto Shutdown (ASD) Relay

Complete No Start Test 12, Step A before proceeding.

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between dark blue/yellow wire of auto shutdown relay 4-way connector and ground, then enter system into ATM Test Mode 06. Display may go directly from Code 55 to ATM Test 01 and cycle through all ATM tests without pressing the ATM button.
3. If voltmeter pulsates between 0 and 12 volts in ATM Test 06, proceed to Step B.
4. If voltmeter reads within 1 volt of battery voltage and system cannot be put into ATM Test 06, proceed to Step F.
5. If voltmeter indicates 0---1 volt and remains steady, proceed to Step D.
