NS-14E Reference Pick-Up Signal Wire

Complete No Start Test 14, Step D before proceeding.

1. With pickup coil connector disconnected, disconnect 60-way SMEC electrical connector.
2. Connect ohmmeter between terminal No. 47 of the 60-way connector and gray/black wire of the distributor harness connector.
3. If ohmmeter indicates continuity, replace SMEC. Before replacing SMEC, ensure terminal in terminal No. 47 is not damaged.
4. If ohmmeter does not indicate continuity, locate and repair open in wire between terminal No. 47 of the 60-way connector and distributor.
