NS-14D Distributor Pick-Up Harness Ground Circuit

Complete No Start Test 14, Step A before proceeding.

1. With distributor pickup connector disconnected and coil wire held 1/4 inch from a good engine ground. connect a jumper wire between gray wire of connector and ground.
2. Turn ignition switch to the Run position.
3. If a spark is observed at coil wire, repair open in black/light blue wire between connector and wiring harness splice.
4. If no spark is observed at coil wire, proceed to Step E.
