NS-13C Checking For A Shorted MAP Sensor

Complete No Start Test 13, Step A before proceeding.

1. With ignition switch turned On, throttle position sensor connector disconnected and the negative lead of a voltmeter connected to ground, disconnect the MAP sensor connector.
2. Touch the positive lead of a voltmeter to the violet/white wire at the throttle position sensor connector.
3. If voltmeter reads at least 4.5 volts, replace the MAP sensor.
4. If voltmeter reads zero, proceed to Step D.
