1. Warm up the engine and check to be sure that the fast-idle cam is released.
2. Stop the engine.
3. Return SAS-1 Fig. 1, and SAS-2 Fig. 2, enough so that the throttle valve is fully shut. Make a note of the number of turns to return.
4. Connect a voltmeter (digital type) between 2 and 3 of the TPS connector. Fig. 6.

CAUTION:
A. Do not separate the TPS connector and body side harness.
B. The voltmeter used should be the digital type and should be accurate.

5. Switch ON the ignition and then adjust the TPS adjustment screw so that the TPS output voltage becomes 250 mV.
6. Switch OFF the ignition.
7. Close SAS-1 and SAS-2 by the same number of turns they were shut in step 3.
