Bulb Check

As soon as the operating voltage is applied to the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) ignition input, the SDM activates the warning lamp for a bulb check. The SDM turns the lamp ON for 7 seconds, and then the SDM turns the lamp OFF

During the bulb check, the SDM is not ready to detect a crash or deploy the supplemental inflatable restraints.
