Alarm Horn: Service and Repair

Removal




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the wheelhouse deadener.
3. Remove the headlamp.
4. Remove the inlet pipe bolt and resonator screws
5. Remove the siren electrical connector.
6. Remove the siren.

Installation




1. Install the siren with the mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the siren mounting bolts to 3 N.m (27 lb-in).

2. Install the siren bracket with the mounting bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the siren bracket mounting bolt to 22 N.m (16 lb-ft).

3. Connect the siren electrical connector.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
