Conditions for Setting the DTC
- The Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects the voltage difference of the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor signal is less than 75 mV for more than 15 minutes after ignition ON. (The TFT sensor signal is open.)
- TFT is less than -30°C.
- Transmission Range (TR) position is except for P or N.
- DTC P0705 not set.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
- TCM will request the illumination of power lamp and store DTC when TCM detects failures on two consecutive ignition cycle.
- No increase in line pressure at low temperature.

Conditions for Clearing the MIL/Power Lamp/DTC
- The TCM turns off the power lamp when no further failure detected on the next ignition cycle.
- The Scan-100 scan tool can clear the DTC from the TCM history.
- The TCM clears the DTC from the TCM history memory after forty consecutive ignition cycle without fault while it detects that the ATF temperature is between 0°C and 150°C for 15 minutes continuously.
