Fuel Line Replacement - Chassis (Cab/Chassis w/Balance Pump)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front and auxiliary fuel tanks. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup) (Removal and Replacement)Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Front) (Removal and Replacement)Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Rear) (Removal and Replacement).
2. Disconnect the pressure balance pump electrical connector.




3. Remove the fuel bundle nuts.
4. Remove the fuel bundle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the fuel bundle.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the fuel bundle nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 16 Nm (12 lb ft).




3. Connect the pressure balance pump electrical connector.
4. Install the front and auxiliary fuel tanks. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup) (Removal and Replacement)Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Front) (Removal and Replacement)Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Rear) (Removal and Replacement).
