Front Floor Console Cup Holder Door Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console cup holder assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Rear Cup Holder Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Turn the front floor console upside down in order to access the front floor console rear air duct assembly.




4. Remove the fastener (1) that retains the front floor console rear air duct assembly (2) to the front floor console assembly.
5. Disconnect the electrical connections to the front floor console rear air duct assembly (2).
6. Remove the front floor console rear air duct assembly (2) from the console.




7. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the front floor console rear cup holder hinge assembly to the console.
8. Turn the front floor console upward.




9. Slide the front floor console rear cupholder hinge assembly out of the front floor console assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Slide the front floor console rear cupholder hinge assembly into the front floor console assembly.
2. Turn the front floor console up side down.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).




3. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the front floor console rear cup holder hinge assembly to the front floor console.

Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the front floor console rear air duct assembly (2) into the front floor console.
5. Connect the electrical connections to the front floor console rear air duct assembly (2).




6. Install the fastener (1) that retains the front floor console rear air duct assembly (2) to the front floor console assembly.

Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

7. Install the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the front floor console cup holder assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Rear Cup Holder Replacement (Service and Repair).
