Floor Air Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the heater outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement (Floor Air Outlet Replacement).
2. Remove the mode actuator. Refer to Mode Actuator Replacement (Mode Actuator Replacement).




3. Remove the mode door actuator mounting bracket screws.
4. Remove the mode door actuator mounting bracket.




5. Disconnect and remove the floor air door lever from the floor air door.




6. Remove the floor air door from the HVAC module.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the floor air door into the HVAC module.





Important: Align the floor air door lever slot with the pin on the mode door main lever.


2. Install the floor air door lever into the floor air door.
3. Install the mode door actuator mounting bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.




4. Install the mode door actuator mounting bracket screws.

Tighten the screws to 0.9 N.m (8 lb in).

5. Install the mode actuator. Refer to Mode Actuator Replacement (Mode Actuator Replacement).
6. Install the heater outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement (Floor Air Outlet Replacement).
