Oil Pump Drive Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the lower intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the oil pump drive bolt. (cylinder heads shown removed for clarity).
3. Remove the oil pump drive.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply prelube to the oil pump drive gear. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants (Specifications).
2. Install the oil pump drive.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

3. Install the oil pump drive bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 36 N.m (27 lb ft).

4. Install the lower intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement (Service and Repair).
