Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (w/o SIAB) (Rear Seat Replacement (w/o SIAB))Rear Seat Replacement (w/SIAB) (Rear Seat Replacement (w/SIAB)).
2. Remove the rear left quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Service and Repair).




5. Remove the body side front trim panel retainers using the J 38778.
6. Remove the body side front trim panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the body side front trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Install the body side front trim panel retainers by aligning the retainers to the holes and pushing in on the retainers to secure them.
3. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Service and Repair).
4. Install the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Install the rear left quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
6. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (w/o SIAB) (Rear Seat Replacement (w/o SIAB))Rear Seat Replacement (w/SIAB) (Rear Seat Replacement (w/SIAB)).
