Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (w/o SIAB) (Rear Seat Replacement (w/o SIAB))Rear Seat Replacement (w/SIAB) (Rear Seat Replacement (w/SIAB)).
3. Remove the anchor plate bezels. Refer to Rear Floor Carpet Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the sliding door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Service and Repair).
6. Remove the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Remove the left trim panel and remove the right trim panel from the side center pillar. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Remove the lower instrument panel (I/P) cowl panels. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
9. Remove the left and the right quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) andRear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).




10. Remove the carpet (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet (2) to the vehicle.
2. Install the left and the right quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) andRear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
3. Install the lower I/P cowl panels. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the left trim panel and install the right trim panel to the side center pillar. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Install the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the sliding door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Service and Repair).
7. Install the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Service and Repair).

10. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
